CCH now offers online Childbirth and Parenting Preparation Classes
GILLETTE, Wyo. – Oct. 12, 2022 – The Maternal Child Unit at Campbell County Health is now offering online childbirth and parenting preparation classes, replacing the in-person prenatal and breastfeeding classes that were curtailed during the pandemic. The new online offerings are accessible from any mobile device and are commercial-free (without pop-up ads). Maternal Child staff did extensive research before choosing the classes to ensure that the content is current and evidence-based. The courses are interactive and include videos, 3D animations and extended activities, and the content is available for 9 months after purchase.
Available courses include: Understanding Birth, Understanding Breastfeeding, and Understanding your Newborn. Each course is $65. Click here for more information.
“We know that most new parents want the flexibility that comes from being able to take a prenatal class anytime,” said Jenn Besner, Maternal Child Director. “The new format gives them the chance to learn at their own pace, and go back to the information when they need to. And there will always be the opportunity to call one of our nurses to answer questions if needed.”
