Classes start soon! Parents and caregivers of Yavapai County are being offered the opportunity to attend the upcoming and free Common Sense Parenting class at MATFORCE in Prescott Valley. Facilitator, Sandi Cheney, will be presenting educational material over a 6-week period based on the Common Sense Parenting principle of “using your head as well as your heart to raise school-aged children.”
Over the six-week course, parents and caregivers will learn strategies on disciplining through positive teaching, encouraging good behavior and preventing problems, correcting problem behaviors, creating family routines and traditions, how to talk to your kids about drugs, and
much more!
Classes are on Tuesdays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm starting October 25th, and will continue on November 1st, 8th, 15th, (skip week of Thanksgiving) 29th, and December 6th. Classes will be held at the MATFORCE office located at 8056 E. Valley Road, Suite B in Prescott Valley.
